I support Laurel Hallman for the UUA presidency because I know that she cherishes the humanist strand of our Unitarian Universalist heritage as essential to the diversity at foundation of our movement,and she will not allow it to be discounted or discarded.I have benefited personally from the clarity of her wisdom and spiritual maturity, including her appreciation for the metaphorical nature of all religious language.

Laurel understands the importance of image and narrative in our pursuit of spiritual maturity, as well as the need for communities of covenant to give form to our faith.
